Townsville. Then you have to play a VS. Mode match in the City of Townsville playing as

All-Star Mode Stages
Every single character in All-Star mode has a
specific stage you fight them in, even if it's not
their stage. Eventually, you will fight two
opponents at a time, and ten three opponents at a
time. Use the following trick to find out in
which stage you are going to fight in. On the
little path with the three hearts and the
teleporter to the next fight, there are small TV
screens that appear behind the teleporter. These
screens show you what opponent(s) you are
fighting next. When it shows two opponents, you

You can play as the Master hand in debug mode by using the D-pad and other buttons on the controller at the same time. It makes the game real fun and u can pick any stage even a few hidden ones even though some glitch up I would recommend a Action Replay just for SSBM if you could find a cheap one.

Knock Sandbag off the edge of the world! (v. 1.0 only)

You can use Peach, Mr. Game and Watch, Captain Falcon, Ice Climbers, or Ganondorf to achieve this, but Ganondorf is the easiest to do it with, and is the focus of this tip.

Grab the Homerun Bat, and run up to sandbag, doing an up smash when you get there. Double jump and perform a "bat-drop-spike" combo (drop the bat, and as soon as the bat hits the sandbag, do your aerial down A to spike it back to the ground). L-cancel (tap the L or R button as soon as you hit the ground to cut your recovery time approximately in half) and single jump, air catch the bat, and perform another bat-drop-spike combo. Repeat this process 3-4 times, and follow up with a Warlock Punch (neutral B) If you have the old version, this should knock the bag off the edge of the world, and it will fall through the ground, and the distance meter will go up to 9999.9 ft and then the game will freeze. If you have versions 1.1 or 1.2, then it should go about 4600 ft or so.

Ice Climbers freeze glitch

Grab an enemy with Nana (the CPU controlled Ice Climber) and while she is holding your enemy, do the squall hammer (Smash B) opposite the direction she's holding the foe, rapidly tapping B. If done properly, your opponent will then be frozen in place, unable to move, and won't even fly away when attacked! There are many amusing things that can be done after they are frozen, so I won't spoil any of them!

Wavedashing Technique

An advanced tactic, easiest to initially learn with Luigi on Final Destination. Have Luigi positioned on one end of the stage, and jump into the air, then IMMEDIATELY air dodge diagonally towards the ground in the direction you wish to go. If done properly, Luigi will slide approximately halfway across the stage. Once mastered, this becomes an integral part of Luigi gameplay. It is useable by all characters, but it makes a bigger difference with some more than others.

and "Stock Time Limit" to "Off". Choose two of your best characters (for fighting Mewtwo) and go into a match in the Pokemon Stadium level. Place both fighters on the Pokeball in the middle. Do not pause the game. Unplug the controllers, and leave the system on overnight to accumulate game time. Plug in the controllers again, and have one of the fighters die three times. If enough hours have been accumulated, Mewtwo will challenge you. Defeat him to unlock him as a playable character.

In the f-0 stage when you are on the platform stage. set stock to 99 lives and be sheek in maltiplayer. stnd to the side were the cars don't hit you. break out your chain and wave it at the cars and as you go by you aill see a car on fire and destroyed. it ix fun and intertaining. especialy with only bombs as items set on hi. they also destroy cars. and star wands. not somuch hammers.

on event 51 you got to fight mew 2, ganangorf, and giga browser. you wont see event 51 untill you beat all the other events. now I think the best person to use is jigilypuff.you know the down b move that just puts jigily puff to sleep. well if a aponent touches the senter of jigilypuff at the same time you press the buttons they blast away and get 25% damage so if you do it 3 or 4 times to the same person they will get knocked out the arena.the hardest person to hit though is ganangorf. I barely beat him but I completed the game 100%

Glitches

Get KO's/Vs matches quickly and easily
To get lots of KO's and VS matches under your belt in a shorter amount of time, play a ''1 Stock Survival Test'' against the CPU. Make sure that you are player one (you can use any character) and Ness is in the 2nd slot. Set his CPU level to 9. Select ''Jungle Japes'' as your battlefield. When the fight begins, dont move. Ness will go up, over, and right into the river everytime. This is handy for quickly unlocking some of the secret characters and stages.
Computer Gets Extra Lives After Death
If you have a computer player on your team (so that means atleast 1 human and atleast 1 computer) then when the computer player losses all of the lives, press start on any controller in a slot. Then take out any controller and stick it in the slot of where the computer player is and press start on that controller. Switch the controller back and press start. Viola the computer person "stole" one of your teammates lives or one of your lives. It goes by whoever has the highest amount of lives gets a life taken away.
Game and Watch Kamikaze glitch
In a multiplayer game that features both Ness and Game & Watch, there is a glitch that turns Game & Watch into an unhittable projectile.

To begin, have Game & Watch use the Bucket to absorb three full-powered PK Flash attacks from Ness. After three attacks, the Bucket will be full. From there, have Game & Watch unload the Bucket onto a shielded Ness. Ness's shield will break, and Game & Watch will fly away from the impact at blinding speed.

Not only is it a glitch for Game & Watch to fly away from the impact in the first place, but he turns into a projectile that deals instant death to any other character he touches; furthermore, Game & Watch travels so fast that it's nearly impossible for an opponent to react to the glitch if they don't know that it's coming in advance.
Peach Turnip Glitch
If two Peaches throw the exact same type of Turnip at each other at the exact same time, the turnips will hit each other, go straight up in the air, the hit each other and go straight up in the air again. This will continue until both Turnips fly off the top of the screen.
Daisy's third eye
If you go zoom into the back of the head of the Daisy trophy, you will notice that she has the third eye on the back of her head. This only exists in the Japanese and early North American releases.
Infinite Scope Gun Ammo
You need to shoot 15 single shots. Then shoot 2 fully charged shots. Charge the third one, but make sure someone hits you before you release the shot. Test it out. Works anywhere.

To get trophies do Event modes with the CPU on both easy and hard modes.
Also play 40 rounds of Stadium mode to unlock Luigi or #37 in Event.
Dr. Mario win the Classic or Stadium mode as Mario two times.

Get KO's/Vs matches quickly and easily
To get lots of KO's and VS matches under your belt in a shorter amount of time, play a ''1 Stock Survival Test'' against the CPU. Make sure that you are player one (you can use any character) and Ness is in the 2nd slot. Set his CPU level to 9. Select ''Jungle Japes'' as your battlefield. When the fight begins, dont move. Ness will go up, over, and right into the river everytime. This is handy for quickly unlocking some of the secret characters and stages.
Computer Gets Extra Lives After Death
If you have a computer player on your team (so that means atleast 1 human and atleast 1 computer) then when the computer player losses all of the lives, press start on any controller in a slot. Then take out any controller and stick it in the slot of where the computer player is and press start on that controller. Switch the controller back and press start. Viola the computer person "stole" one of your teammates lives or one of your lives. It goes by whoever has the highest amount of lives gets a life taken away.
Game and Watch Kamikaze glitch
In a multiplayer game that features both Ness and Game & Watch, there is a glitch that turns Game & Watch into an unhittable projectile.

To begin, have Game & Watch use the Bucket to absorb three full-powered PK Flash attacks from Ness. After three attacks, the Bucket will be full. From there, have Game & Watch unload the Bucket onto a shielded Ness. Ness's shield will break, and Game & Watch will fly away from the impact at blinding speed.

Not only is it a glitch for Game & Watch to fly away from the impact in the first place, but he turns into a projectile that deals instant death to any other character he touches; furthermore, Game & Watch travels so fast that it's nearly impossible for an opponent to react to the glitch if they don't know that it's coming in advance.
Peach Turnip Glitch
If two Peaches throw the exact same type of Turnip at each other at the exact same time, the turnips will hit each other, go straight up in the air, the hit each other and go straight up in the air again. This will continue until both Turnips fly off the top of the screen.
Daisy's third eye
If you go zoom into the back of the head of the Daisy trophy, you will notice that she has the third eye on the back of her head. This only exists in the Japanese and early North American releases.
Infinite Scope Gun Ammo

Cheat: 999% Damage
While using Fox (preferably with a turbo controller of some sort), use his blaster on your opponent. If executed properly, the attack will cause high damage (up to 999% damage). Try to be close to the character you’re attacking to make this work, and of course, a turbo controller will work best.

SSB Melee has a lot of stages to select from. While the select screen only indicates you can unlock five there are actually more than that. Note that there is a certain random element to the unlocking of the first four stages. Sometimes, the first stage you unlock isn't Brinstar. If it didn't unlock at 50 matches, it will unlock at 100, 150, or 200.
Planet Zebes: Brinstar Depths (Metroid) -- Play 50 Vs. matches.

Event 51

This is by far easier than any stragedy ive yet to encounter. To defeat Event Match 51, Select Peach. Now when the battle starts, go left. When Mewtwo gets close, jump away off the edge, double jump at the peak of the first, and then use your umbrella and float to the other side. With practice, you can have Mewtwo be pushed off while charging his projectile, Giga Bowser do his butt attack (whatever u wanna call it), and Ganondorf plunge to his death after attempting his jump-grab move. Keep moving back an forth in this figure-8 pattern until they're all defeated. You can also grab weapons to help speed up this process. Hammers work best

Event Match #50-51

To beat event match 50 you should take out the hand on the left first then the right its easier than trying both at the same time. I find Luigi the best for #50. If you want event Match #51 you have to beat all the other event matches first.
If you want to beat this match use JIGGLYPUFF! It's rest move can knock them off the stage easily. Concentrate on Giga Bowser first. The Rest move (down B) will only work when jigglypuff is extremely close so it might take a few tries. When Giga Bowser is gone float around and wait for the right time to hit mewtwo or Ganondorf. Watch out for ganondorfs up B move while in the air. Good Luck!

Character Unlock: Roy To unlock Roy, also from the Fire Emblem series, complete Classic Mode using Marth at any difficulty/stock. Roy will challenge you; defeat him and you can play as him.
Character Unlock: Pichu To unlock Pichu, complete Event 37 (Legendary Pokémon). Pichu will challenge you; win and you'll be able to play as Pichu!
Character Unlock: Mr. Game & Watch To unlock Mr. Game & Watch, you must complete both Classic or Adventure 1-P mode or the Target Test with ALL characters at any difficulty/stock, regular and hidden (that includes Mewtwo). After you do that, you'll be challenged; win this battle.

There is an easy to beat the 100-man melee, use chibi link (young link) and keep using the spin attack, dont worry if u do the spin jump thats ok as long as u dont fall. this way allows u to hit multiple target in one go. There is a way to keep surviving in endless mode in multi-melee mode, use fox or falco and use the illusion attack (left or right control stick+B), u'll hit a lot of targets that way. u'll get some female wired fighter who will be stubborn to get knock out (it happens a few times they "resurrect", just dont worry about it, u'll knock her out eventually. u'll also be knock out of the ring so use the control stick up+B in any direction as long as ur back on the stage plus u'll knock out the targets that way.
In adventure mode were u have to escape brinstar i recommend u use pikachu and use his/her quick attack. the fist is at a 80 degree angle either left or right then a 90 degree angle or if u know were the platforms are at. In stock vs matches add 1 stock and cpu has to be ness and u any, stage jungle japes, ness levle 9. at start dont move let ness come to u and he'll fall every time. u'll win the match in 3 seconds. u can also put ness to level 0 but he'll fall quicker and u'll win the match in 2 seconds.

adventure, classic and all-star mode on very hard with one life with Fox and Falco. In
classic you have to beat Giga Bowser in under 1 minute, and in all-star you cannot use any
health items, including the heart containers at the start. Then you'll fight her and after
you beat her the game will say, "She's yours to control, here's Krystal!" It's sort of a
pun, because Krystal is kind of a mage that can control all forms of crystals and gems.
You probably don't know this because she doesn't use this power (Or magic, or psionic,
or....) in any of the games or comics. Her powers are; B) Krystal Assualt Rifle: a rapid
fire machine gun that fires crystals, B+Left/Right) Krystal Blade: creates a crystal blade
as big as her while she charges forward at an insane speed, B+Up) Krystal Komet: Krystal
encases herself in a crystal orb and shoots herself in the direction that you point the
control stick, B+Down) Krystal Sheild: Krystal encases herself in a crystal orb that
deflects things. Every time something is deflected, the sheild cracks a little until it
breaks and Krystal is stunned. So basicly she's Fox, except when she uses Krystal Blade or
Krystal Komet, she leavs a trail that can be used for a makeshift platform that disapates
in a few seconds.
